It’s not something people always talk about…

In some of the most historic and established neighborhoods of Yerushalyim, thousands of parents can’t meet their children’s basic needs. Food, clothing, and Yom Tov preparations weigh heavily on families already below the poverty line. 

This Elul, Rabanim of Kupat Yerushalayim are urging Klal Yisroel to change that reality.

Under the leadership of Gedolei Yisroel shlit”a, including Harav Binyomin Finkel Shikt”a, Kupat Yerushalayim has launched an urgent Elul campaign to support 2,160 families across six historic neighborhoods of Yerushalayim. The Rabbonim have reminded us: in these days before the Yom HaDin, nothing brings greater zechus than true tzedaka.

With one donation, you can help struggling families in Yerushalayim and give yourself more Zechusim in the run-up to the Yomim Noraim. 

Kupat Yerushalayim provides weekly support so these families can put food on the table with dignity. When help arrives, the relief is immediate: children eat, parents can breathe, and hope returns to the home.

No parent in Yerushalayim should face Yom Tov with empty hands. Together, let’s change the reality in Yerushalayim.
