The Brand family is suffering terrible deprivation, and we cannot stand by.

This family of nine was evicted from a previous dwelling, and is now renting a tiny, crumbling 1.5-room, 450 square-foot apartment. They can only afford the rent because of the squalid condition of the apartment, and they have no money to fix the broken roof or seal cracks in the walls. The mold and leaks are terrible. (See it below with your own eyes, it’s horrifying to think that young children are living like that.)

To add to their financial burden, they just married off a son before Chanukah, and another son is engaged. His wedding is so soon - on 6 Tammuz. They have absolutely nothing, and no way to provide their son with the basic necessities for the wedding. They can’t even afford a simple necklace for the kallah.

They need to celebrate the wedding with happiness, with peace of mind, and without SHAME!

They need to be able to live in normal, healthy conditions.
