UPDATE MARCH 2nd: Thank you so much for all of your donations. Please continue to support a destitute kallah and her devastated family!
UPDATE, FEBRUARY 27th: R' Tzion's widow and daughters have literally nothing now. Please consider donating $950 to bring hope to this devastated family. In the zechus of this great mitzvah, may Hashem shower you and your entire family with bracha.
Shalom Alechem,
I am Rabbi Yitzchak David Grossman from Migdal HaEmek, and I am reaching out to Klal Yisrael with sadness.
I had a dear talmid, R’ Tzion, a leader of the Migdal HaEmek community.
Shortly after the engagement of his daughter, his wife noticed that he had not yet risen from bed. She went to wake him and was horrified to discover that he was no longer alive.
The cries of grief from their home quickly spread throughout Migdal HaEmek, filling the city with sorrow. He leaves behind seven married children, the Kallah, and two additional unmarried daughters.
His widow, who depended on him entirely, has been left devastated and broken.
No words of comfort can ease her shattered heart.
The family lives in a rented apartment and owns no assets — no vehicle, no pension funds, and no financial savings.
Here in Migdal HaEmek, everyone is doing their utmost, but this community is far from wealthy.
With her husband’s passing, the widow is left living in poverty with her young daughters.
With the wedding approaching, their situation is dire.
They desperately need external support!
Extend a helping hand to this destitute Kallah and her devastated family!
In the zechut of this great mitzvah, may Hashem shower you and your entire family with bracha!
Thank you,
Rabbi Yitzchak Dovid Grossman
Chief Rabbi of Migdal HaEmek
Greetings to the lovers of Torah,
For the sake of my brothers and friends, I wish to speak in every language of request and appeal regarding the important and dear family, among the distinguished residents of Migdal HaEmek, the _ family, may they live and be well.
The crown of their heads and their pride, the head of the family, the righteous father, renowned and praised, Rabbi Zion, of blessed memory, a Torah scholar and humble man, a God-fearing individual, and one of the esteemed learners in the "Migdal Or" institutions, passed away a few months ago to the sorrow of all, leaving his family in deep grief, like a ship lost at sea without its captain.
Now, with the grace of the Almighty, his daughter, the bride-to-be, is about to get married, with God’s help and blessings. A heavy burden weighs upon the righteous widow, may she live and be well, due to the significant expenses of the wedding. It is a great mitzvah to support and assist in this effort and to be a partner in the mitzvah of providing for the wedding of an orphaned bride.
May all those who help be abundantly blessed from the Heavens with blessings and success, and may only goodness and kindness follow them, removing sorrow and anguish from their lives.
With the blessings of the Torah,
Rabbi Yitzchak David Grossman, Shlita
